After being audibly stunned by Randy Rhoads, Vivian Campbell and Al DiMeola at a very early age, Al picked up the guitar and never looked back. Having played in many bands that have toured and opened up for countless major acts throughout his career, it was a conversation with Joe Satriani that sparked his desire to attain a true “understanding of the instrument” over 25 years ago.  His focus shifted from “Rock-star” to being a true student of the instrument, something that continues to this day.

 Al can teach Beginning to Advanced students whatever their goals might be.  From wanting to learn a few chords, learn songs, just play better or really wanting to grasp a true understanding of the instrument, Al can help each student attain their goals on the instrument.
